Sue & Pete // Shrewsbury // Wedding

Sue is a friend I've known for years now.  She often works with We are Frilly and is a brilliant artist and academic, working towards a PhD!  When she mentioned she and Pete were tying the knot I knew I wanted to capture the day for them!

After a simple heartfelt ceremony at Shrewsbury Registry Office, the remainder of the day was spent at friends houses by the river, and then back to Sue's for a party.  Their friends all pulled together to make the day special for Sue & Pete, without any fussing.   As you'll see below, the weather was beautiful and their garden party was a cosy success!

I wanted to blog this wedding to emphasise two points: 1) you don't have to spend thousands and thousands on your wedding to have a special day, and 2) it really IS just about you, your loved ones, your family and friends!
